Southern Region Vice President: Joe E. Randolph II
Originally from Gainesville, GA, Joe E. Randolph II is currently employed with The Vanguard Group Inc, as a Manager in Vanguard’s Retail Investor Group, which services individual investors. In his role, Joe is responsible for overall business and people management where he leads a team of Managers through the areas of client satisfaction, technical proficiency, and a focus on strategic planning and growth strategies. Prior to joining Vanguard, Joe was previously employed with Wachovia where he was an Assistant Vice President, serving in roles as Department Manager in the Fraud Operations department. He also served as a Group Manager and Team Leader in the Wachovia Securities Retail Investment Group. Joe is also an Adjunct Professor at Johnson C. Smith University in the Business and Economics department and previously at Allen University in the Division of Business Administration
Joe is currently a National Board member for the National Urban League Young Professionals Auxiliary, serving as Southern Region Vice President. He also served as National Programs Chair for the National Urban League Young Professionals. He currently serves on the executive board for National Black MBA Association Charlotte Chapter as Immediate Past President. He previously served as President for the NBMBAA Charlotte Chapter and has been a member of the National Black MBA Association since 2004. He also served on the Executive Board as Vice President of Operations, and on the Programming and Leaders of Tomorrow Committees. Joe is also a previous board member for the Urban League of the Central Carolinas as well as served as President for the Young Professionals Auxiliary and Vice President and held a former position as Professional Development Chair. He also served on the Board for the Teen Health Connection. He is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., as well as a member of Toastmasters USA, Charlotte Black Political Caucus and serves on the Coker College Alumni Board.
Joe is a graduate of Pfeiffer University where he obtained his Masters in Business (MBA) and Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership and Development. He also attended Coker College in Hartsville, SC, having earned a B.S. in Business Administration. He is also an Alumni from the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership. Joe is a registered representative and holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA, formerly the NASD) Series 24, 7, 6 and 63 licenses. He also has his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
